Availment of service tax credit

DEAR SIR,
We are a manufacturer of iron steel.We have not received last years service tax certificate from our bank yet.If the certificate get now can we set off this amount with our excise duty payable.

Dear sir,
We are steel manufacturing company and importing Heavy mild steel scrap and we have been making payment through letter of credit and the bank service charge is also there on L.C. and they issue a paper like certificate annually we can take this credit against excise duty payable after getting this certificate in that certificate they provide full details ie total service charge and their corresponding sevice tax bill wisely.Are you satisfied now sir?
