03 August 2013 CMPDI LIMITED a subsy of Coal India LTD providing consulting engineers service to other subsy of coal india. The company pays the service tax and recovers from the service receivers. One new office building is being constructed on work contract basis for which service tax is being charged by contractors from CMPDI LTD. Whether the company is eligible for Cenvat Credit for the service tax paid on work contract service for the construction of office building?
