26 July 2011 A Company has filed Form 1A with proposed Authorised Capital of Rs. 1 Lakh. The ROC has approved the name application. Now the Company wants to Increase Authorised Capital. Can Company enhance the same before filing of Incorporation Documents?

26 July 2011 yes, that's called Pre incorporation contract.,

26 July 2011 Clause 13(b) of the instructions for filing e-form 1A is reproduced below.
"Note that the amount of proposed authorised capital as entered in eForm 1A cannot be reduced at the time of filing eForm 1 for Incorporation of the company; and hence ensure that the amount being entered is correct".
As a corollary to the above, my understanding is, though I have not practically done, authorized share capital can be increased in e-form 1.

26 July 2011 Yes. As per my understanding also authorized share capital can be increased while uploading in form 1.
