08 October 2013 is it compulsory from the side of auditor to attend all the agm's of all the companies?

Yes, the person appointed in AGM should be present for the purpose of completing the procedure of appointment. They will be introduced in meeting for the appointment of next year. So it is required for auditor to attend the AGM.

09 October 2013 it is the right of auditor to get notice for AGM and have the power to attend at AGM but it is not the duty of auditor to attend at AGM..

09 October 2013 It is not compulsory as he has been given right but not thrown duty under companies act1956 to attend agm.

There's no special provision that the Auditor has to attend the AGM,
