Does the appointment of auditor would be for a term of five years as per new companies amendment act 2017 and all the previous appointments made would continue with ratification?

Since first proviso of the section 139 is omitted and therefore after the date when the amendments are notified to be effective, ratification of appointed annually shall not be required

Section 102 simply say that the "appointment of auditor" shall not be deemed to be a special business, it is does not say that this resolution should be passed compulsorily
