18 February 2013 Sir/mam,

Mine is a pvt co. I want to appoint a new auditor in place of retiring auditor in AGM itself.
What is the procedure to do the same? does it require special notice from any member or Board can do it by itself?

18 February 2013 Sorry I mistook with no of audits. The process for Private company's auditor is also same as for public company.
1. Special notice is required for appointment of an auditor at an AGM other than the appointed director or such appointed director shouldn't be reappointed.
2.After receiving such notice,the company will forward this notice to auditor.

18 February 2013 but this is applicable for specified no. of companies for auditors to take audit.
so in my case does section 225 applies?
