RESPECTED SIR,
I HAVE BEEN APPOINTED AS AUDITOR OF A PRIVATE LIMITED COMPANY WHETHER IS IT NECESSARY TO INTIMATE TO THE REGISTRAR WITHIN 30 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF INTIMATION OF APPOINTMENT RECEIVED FROM PVT CO.

Yes after the appointment of a person as an auditor, he has intimate to the registrar within 30 days of his appointmnt in case of private company also. (u/s 224(1a) )

You have to file form 23B with in 30 days of receipt of intimation from the company about you appointment.
