07 May 2013 sir,

one of client came to our office and asked to do audit and certification of balance sheet now, from f.y.2009 on wards so what is the procedure in this regard. and what date we have to keep on financial statements

so please guide me how to handle this issue and what is the procedure

and how to appoint auditor in this case

please give procedure to complete this as early as possible.

09 May 2013 First you need to check whether the company has already appointed the auditor and get the details, if not appointed now you can take the appointment as late appointment, if already appointed someone, need to take consent from previous auditor

09 May 2013 I am sure they have not appointed any one,

so will accept this as late appointment
so we have to file form 23b for appointment for all those years.
But
which date should be ,in balance sheet
and audit report,
is it current date or back dated..

and what was the procedure to make the company "active" from dormant position,.
