Is there any other ceiling fixed for a full time practising chartered accountant apart from tax audit & statutory audit of companies?

Yes as per circular issued by ICAI a CA can accept maximum of 30 audits including Private Company.
The statutory limit for Statutory audit is specified in Section 224 (1B) - 20 Audits out of which not more then 10 shall have paid up capital of 25 lakhs or more.
Apart from that the maximum audits that can be accepted by auditor shall not exceed 30 audits including private companies...
