WHAT IS DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ASSUMPTION AND ESTIMATION

assumption is a belief..for eg I assume that in a meeting everyone will be on time.
so there is no science behind the assumption...like we assuming we have God!
estimation on the other hand is a science..like on the basis of past experience, I may estimate what are the chances of everyone reaching in time for the meeting.
