Is there any concept called Assignment of Shares in Indian Law/Provisions and what is the purpose of it. Is there any need to draft a Assignment Deed to give effect to the same?

Can anyone throw some light of the subject matter.

02 June 2011 Yes there is provision of Assignment of share. The purpose may be anything suppose you have a loan, you are not able to pay than you can pay the loan by assignment of share if any you have or you can also gift any one .There should be a deed to give effect assignment.
