28 June 2009 I have filed income tax return on 27th March,2008 of A.Y.2007-08 of my corporate client, and notice received from I.T.Depts. u/s.143(2) of I.T.Act, on 12/06/2009 alongwith Notice u/s.142 (1) of the I.T.Act.,1961.

is it is in valid or not, as per my knowlege, notice to be issued within one year from the months of return filing.

28 June 2009 According to me,notice u/s 142(1) is valid because time period for issuance of such notice is of 18 months.however,notice u/s 143(2) is not valid.
