Articleship trouble in 1st year

28 December 2016 I am in my first year of Articleship and my principal & other articles are not good to work with. one other article is family friend of my CA and they are kind of harassing me . in all cases principal take side of that article. behavior of managing partner is also very bad. I am finding it very difficult to continue here. I asked for transfer and they are refusing and forcing me to work. some day they say we will give you transfer tomorrow but they actually dont. one day they said if your parents come then we will give you transfer , I took my parent but they still refused. they are also saying that we will give you transfer after 3 months and I should sit at home And they will put leaves for these 3months then they will give transfer . they are building kind of moral turpitude. help me sir /mam plz.

28 December 2016 If by applying all efforts ur principal is not understanding ur point then U must lodge a complaint against ur principal for that to ICAI. Coz in first year u can take transfer without providing any reason, but the consent of ur principal and ICAI is must for that case.

But they are giving excuse in the name of firm's rule of giving transfer only after 3 month. It is not even a mediocre firm , a small firm. And 3 months is so much as notice period and they had never told any such rule while joining or nowhere in written.

29 December 2016 Shivam, there is no rule beyond rules formed by ICAI. No CA can form any such rule to give transfer after 3 months or any other as such. They are just ignoring u. So, I'll suggest to lodge a complaint to ICAI regarding the issue.
