Articleship transfer in second year

05 October 2013 My father is a heart patient and for his better check up we will be shifting to Mumbai for some time where my brother also resides. I can provide my brother's job detail. I need transfer on this ground since no body will be here with whom I can stay.

Need suggestions in this respect...

05 October 2013 If you are shifting to Mumbai for a permanent basis then,
ICAI may grant the permission of transfer,
however, I don't think ICAI will convince on that note..

However, you can try..

05 October 2013 My parents wont be shifting for a permanent basis. However, since I will join under a CA in Mumbai then, I"ll be continuing my articleship there only as I can stay with my brother.

Isn't my reason valid for taking transfer??

05 October 2013 Hi

You can take transfer on the basis of shifting of parent to another city as per Transfer provision.

You will only submit documentory prof with Form-109 signed by your principal and submit the same with Institute.

If Institute satisfy your reason of transfer then give you approval otherwise reject your application.
