25 July 2014 A CA Student want to take transfer from Mumbai to Kota (Raj.) in the 3rd year of articleship .
Is it possible to take transfer?

Shifting by the principal to another city involving distance more than 50 km.

25 July 2014 only when you join a new firm where the distance is more then 50 kms out side the city old co.

25 July 2014 Dear Querist,

the transfer will be allowed only if:

1. your principal is shifting to a place more than 50 kms away

or

2. any of your parent is getting transferred (in his or her job) to a place more than 50 kms away)

3. alternatively you may go for secondment or industrial training. (for industrial training atleast 9 months of articleship should be pending and for secondment atleast 4 months)
