08 June 2014 A. Total number of days served (365×3) = 1095
B. Less: Total leave taken (including weekly holidays) = 178
C. Actual Period served = 917
D. Entitlement of leave (1/6th of the actual period served) = (917/6) = 153

EXCESS LEAVE: (B – D) = 25.

Sir, we have considered weekly holidays in Form 109 for leave purpose.(We have considered 180 days as leave applicable)

Institute have issued us a notice for excess leave taken of 25 days. Please suggest the process for solving this problem.

one of my friend also had the same problem, his short period was just for 19 days, then he had to complete 19 days training more dear
