Articleship on national holidays

16 August 2013 Respected sir,
I am article i want to ask is an article need to attend articleship on national holidays or its an.official holiday for the article also even if the c.a open up its office. Can any action be taken against article.

2)Student should work as per principal instructions..and practice of firm

yes in some firms saturday is holiday in their normal practise so student can take this benifit

So sanction of leave is upto principal opinion

16 August 2013 National Holidays are declared by Government may be State/Central Govt. by passing resolutions and therefore its become fundamental right of every employees to get holiday on that days.

However in CA profession these rule are normally gets violated, but you may can take compensatory offs or may be used as set off against excess leaves (if any)
