28 November 2007 Hello friends!!..I wanna know abt some top most firms of CA in mumbai for doing articleship.I had appear for CA-PE-II in this november-07 and after that i wanna pursue my articleship in mumbai so i wanted some info for the same.I need info like name,address of the firms and working hours in that firms and stipend they pay for same.well i will also be completing CS-INTER and ICWA-INTER by 2nd JAN-08.As such I had completed BE(Information Technology)in july-06 but after that have decided to do CA as having gr8 interest in finance and taxation.plz guide me..all ur views would be precious to me..

The detailed names & addresses of the firms are placed in the notice board of the ICAI office in Mumbai. However you can use internet as a media to collect the information. some of the names are E & Y, Dolphi D'souza, Engineer & mehta, & many more.

28 November 2007 sir basically m from surat.n looking for articleship in mumbai.so I will have to stay at some hostel or as a paying guest..please specify the amount of stipend they use to pay to article...

28 November 2007 Depending on the firm it pays in the range of 3000 to 7000. This also depends on your entry into the firm. There are basic hostel and PG facilites. You should try fro 6000 to 7000 stipend which will allow you to balance. Good Luck.
