Articleship completion urgent

I have given 1st attempt for CA finals in November 15 ,couldn't cleared ,the fact that my articleship 2.5 years completion was certified by my principal in exam form enabling me to give exams.
However, my principal marked leave in form 108 as excessive of more than 7 months and the same was extended by the institute.
query is whether this is as per regulations and whats the solution of the issue
