19 August 2014 I am second year article. I am planning to give May-2015 CA Final attempt. I want to know about conditions pertaining to appearing for Final exam with respect to articleship, viz.,
1) If I want to give CA Final attempt in May-2015, then whether Oct-2015 is deadline to complete my articleship?
2) Is advance ITT program is applicable to me?
3) Whether GMCS & advance ITT days are included in articleship period?

Please reply as early as possible.

19 August 2014 you dont have options to choose the first attempt. only when u complete 2 yrs and 6 mnths of training then ur eligible for ur 1st ca final attempt

19 August 2014 My articleship commencement date is 1/8/2012. So I am completing 2 yrs & 6mths in Feb-2015. But due to so many leaves my articleship will extend beyond 3 yrs i.e. probably upto 30/11/2015. So is it not the problem for me?

19 August 2014 the regulation uses the words " pending 6 months of articleship training a candidate is eligible to appear for ca final exam"

so in ur case if its 3.6 years articleship training including excess leave then u will be eligible only when u complete 3 yrs

u can once confirm with icai regional office nearest to u

19 August 2014 gmcs and itt will be counted as articleship only and u will be eligible when there is pending 6 months
