01 February 2017 Cleared IPCC both groups so should i go for big4 or mid size

01 February 2017 Rachna first of all congratulations for ur achievement. Now to answer ur query there r two things for big 4s. First if u got selected in big4s then there is no doubt that u'll easily get job in MNC's(and with attractive pay scale) after post CA. U'll also going to get vast knowledge of working experience, but the issue with big 4 is that there is a lot of working pressure that u need to handle, and u must have to handle that and second and the most important is that they will not allow u decent leave before examination. U'll also not going to get time(and mood too) for daily study after working for around 8 to 10 hrs in a day. Now coming to a mid size firm, U'll get practical knowledge of work there too, but may b there is no big corporate name to which u need to deal with(client). And as u know that the corporate world will prefer the candidate from Big 4s then from any other mid size firms, so u need to work a lot for a good pay job(if u not going in practice). And the most important thing is that they can allow u a decent time for preparing for ur finals(they may adjust that time after ur examination). So I'll suggest to apply for both, but join after considering all points. Well, All the best for ur future...................
