06 September 2014 I recently got through IPCE group1 and want to join articleship under a good firm in Delhi.

my confusion is wether to go for big firms where there are separate departments and concentrate on specialisation or shoould i choose a medium firm to work in all departments(tax,audit,etc)

Also, if i go for big firms, which department should be chosen and why?

It depends on what is your long term goal.

If you want to go for job after CA. then it will be better to learn each work (i.e. tax audit, statutory audit, internal audit, income tax etc. etc.)

If you want to go for Practice for specialized service then go for big firm and concentrate on that subject / service.

And if you want to go for Tradition Practice then it will be better to learn maximum possible.

In short its upto you, what you want to do after CA., accordingly you will have to choose firm for articleship.

one more query sir...
if i choose to clear my IPCEgroup2 first to get better firms..when will i be able to make my attempt for CA final?
results are usually declared in the month of February
feb2015+2.5yrs of articleship..that means i am eligible for November 2017 attempt..am i right sir?
