hi, i want to ask that is it possible to pursue articleship from big4s in areas other than audit and is it essential for a candidate to have passed ipcc in 1st attempt.

There is no such need dt u shud pass IPCC in 1st attempt for big 4 firms,Practically if u are gud in ur subjects n have gud links then u can easily get articleship in Big4 firms.
But in Big4s u have to choose a particular area of practice like service tax, direct tax,Accounts audit, Finance,etc..
