This query is : Resolved

12 November 2009 dear sir,
pl. explian me :

(1)Can arbitrage trading ( buying/selling a scrip on BSE & selling/buying it on NSE ) be done without having/owning that particular scrip - if I sqare-up the position same day ?
(2) Can this position be carried forward ? if yes, what is to be done by me ?
thanks in advance
anckoor

19 November 2009 Answer to your first question is clear Yes.

Can you please explain the carry forward part?
I mean, if you buy something on say BSE and sell it on NSE, your trade is over, where is the carry forward?

If you meant to say whether you can sell the shares in NSE bought from BSE or vice versa at a later date, the answer would be yes.
