appointment of two manager in one company

15 December 2009 can i appoint two manager's ? and wether both these managers has to be employees ?
if yes than my query is "if there is one manager who will be whole time and will look after the substantial business according to the act than what will that other director will do???

15 December 2009 Yes, a company can appoint two or more manager at the same time. But restriction is that company can not have Managing Director and Manager both at the same time.

As regards next query that "... what will other director do?" my simple answer is that - director will do what he should do. If you want to ask "what other manager will do?" then answer would be he shall do all those work as given under his terms of appointment.
