04 August 2010 If person is not having share in A Compnay. It is possible to appoint Director in A company. pls. explain what to do

04 August 2010 To be a director of a company shareholding is not mandatory...

In other words a person can become director of a company without holding any shares in the company.

Even articles can not put this kind of restriction read with section 9 of the companies act, 1956.

04 August 2010 Sir is the same applicable for all companies or only for private limited companies?
