24 November 2010 When we are appointing auditor other than th retiring auditor in an AGM then what steps to be taken ? Whether Form 23 is to be filed for the same ?

24 November 2010 For safety purpose the same should be filed and i have the same opinion but it is not compulsory.

Agreed with the expert. Appointment of Statutory Auditor and fixation of their remuneration is an Ordinary Business transcated by an Ordinary Resolution. Not mandatory to file Form 23.

14 December 2010 form 23B should be filed by auditor.
