dear sir,
we are looking to import cnc gas cutting machine from czech republic. the machine is new & ex-works cost is euro 50000 under epcg scheme. our co. is registered under ssi.
we have to file an application of license under epcg scheme. please let us know the complete procedure of filing online application with jt.dgft & custom procedure.
also the calculation of custom duty.the HS code of machine is 84682000. how to fill duty calculation while online filing?

First you have to obtain IEC then only you can file application for EPCG SCHEME.. THAT IS available in dgft/custom sites.

Noted that dear author,
whenever you obtain the IEC code then DGFT ISSUE THE EPCG LICENCE TO AN EXPORTER.
AFTER IT THROUGH THE DIGITAL KEY WE CAN EFILING THE APPLICATION .

refer to para 5.1(b) of foreign trade policy 2009-2014 you occurs in ZERO DUTY EPCG SCHEME.
no duty applicable in this case subject to an export obligation equivalent to 6 times of duty saved on capital goods imported under scheme to be fulfilled in 6 year reckoned from authorisation date.
compliance of para 5.1(c)to (h) will be read before apply.

Dear Sir, Please note i am working with an export co. as export executive. i have applied for zero duty EPCG lic. scheme on 11.03.2013. Now,the DGFT officials rejected our application because the scheme was in effect till 31.03.2013. They told us to wait till next notification. Please advise what is the tentative time period for issue of notification from customs. regards,
