We are into Gold Loan business. we are collecting Card Membership fee from the members for availing a fresh loan from the company. Is Service tax is applicable for Card fee? Please reply asap. Regards Babu

Yes if such service exceed the basic exemption limit as it is specific service provided by you.

Thank you for the reply. How much amount is the Basic Exemption LImit? and other one is we have already one division called Microfinance and we launched into another division called "Gold Loan". Is that for Gold loan seperately Basic Exemption limit to be crossed or not required
