I would like to know the applicability of Sec 44AB for the AY 2016-17. Whether the recent amendments are applicable from AY 2016-17 (FY 2014-15)? Please clarify.

The amendment brought in through Finance Act,2016 in section 44 AB is applicable from asst. yr. 2017-18
