Applicability of service tax on binding job works

10 December 2013 Dear Sir,

One of my client is doing labor job work such as printed Paper cutting, Binding, pasting & providing labor in relation to various printing related works.

He is using consumables such as gum, thread, ,cloth and packing material in such type of works.

Few time he is providing pure labor services to the clients where all consumables & packing material is provided by the client.

My question is whether the services provided in this relation attracts Service Tax Liability ?? Please be in detail.
