A company engaged in real estate business and developing lands, applicability of section 297 on such companies. kindly provide a case law to support the same. Thanks in advance.

The provisions of Companies Act, 1956 including Section 297 are applicable to all companies registered under this act.
The applicability of any Section is not related to the nature of business the company is engaged in.
