Applicability of gst on purchase of newspaper in office

29 July 2017 Dear Sir,

Is every purchase of goods and services will be covered under GST :-

1. newspaper vendor who supplies newspaper to offices will be considered as "unregistered dealer"
2. auto driver services used for for bringing diesel for DG set will be treated as "unregistered dealer"

31 July 2017 Every purchase of goods or service is not liable for GST. If the annual turnover of a person is less than INR 20 lakhs, GST registration need not be taken. He would be considered as unregistered dealer.

31 July 2017 * Every goods and services covered under GST - No Some Goods and services not covered under GST. 1. News paper vendor is commission based workers. So, they can reach 20lakhs above then applicable GST. In case we received bill from NEWSPAPER COMPANY the bill is taxable invoice. Rate as NIL.... 2. As per rule Auto Drivers also under GST if receipts above 20lakhs under Passenger Transport Services. Petroleum products not covered GST... Not Covered Under GST : Petroleum Products Alcohol Electricity Funeral Service Court Actions and Services by Employee to the Employer.....
