I want to know whether a company who is in the field of emboidery business is chargeable to Excise duty? the company is a listed company and is also in the production of FDY.

13 July 2011 Wef 1st apl'2011, company engaged in field of embrodiery, used in readymade garments shall be subject to Excise duty @10% with abatement of 55% on value of garments.

The company has its one plant as 100% EOU. The other plants are not. Still it will be chargeable?
