Dear Sir
My client's appeal is dismissed at CIT(A) due to non attendance.
Please tell me what to do further, whether there is any way to restore the appeal if yes then what are the procedures and process.

Please file an appeal before the Income tax Appellate Tribunal with a prayer to set aside the order of CIT(Appeals) and remit it back to him / her for consideration de novo in accordance with law, after giving due opportunity to the assessee for presenting its case.

I also want to know is it possible that to write a letter to the cit(a) apologizing for the non-attendance..state the reason for the same and ask for another opportunity to present the case.....
