02 September 2010 What is the period for which we prepare the Annual Return whether it is for AGM to AGM or Its for April to March

Our company had done the spilt of shares, the board meeting was taken on 3rd july, 2010 for approving the same. And the AGM was held on 30th July, 2010 for approving the spilt. Whether I should include spilt in the Annual Return or not

02 September 2010 Annual return contains the figures (financials) of April to March

But it must carry an up-to-date shareholding pattern.

That means... you have to show the shareholding (after split) in the annual return

05 September 2010 Annual Return contains the data as on the date of adoption of annual accounts in the board meeting.

So in this way Annual Return is more updated to the annual accounts.
