03 January 2011 how to reply showcause notice u/s 271FA for penelty of non filling of annual information return if no return filed till date.
please reply immeditely.
Your views are also welcome.
whether it is appealable order.

04 January 2011 1) File form 61A and reply to the show cause stating that the form has been filed and seek condonation for the delay with a prayer that the proposed penalty u/s 271FA may be dropped apart from other reasonable cause,depending on a case to case basis, to avail the provision of section 273B.
2) Order u/s 271FA is not appealable u/s 246A / 253.

04 January 2011 dear sir,
I have already filed form 61A in respect of all previous year & request them to drop the penelty but he is not interested in waiving it , please suggest some other remedy.
further,in my opinion, it is appeallable under under section 246A/253 under the caluse penelties impossible under chpater XXI . am I right.
please solve my problem on urgent basis

04 January 2011 I stand corrected. 271FA is appealable under 246A(q).
