09 November 2009 can an annual general meeting be held abroad? if so, what are the provisions in the act?

09 November 2009 If you go by the language of section 166(2)you can not hold ur AGM abroad.

09 November 2009 There is no need to ask any case law regarding my previous opinion as my previous opinion based on clear mandate of section-166.

However you may look for case law which allow holding of AGM in abroad. But i don't have any case law to help you...
