04 January 2011 I just want to view the annual accounts filed by a pvt ltd co with ROC. Can i access to such documents by MCA site by paying fees? what all documents of a pvt ltd co can be viewed by me by paying fee? I came to know that only the documents of a public ltd co is accessible by the general public thro MCA site by paying fee. Is that true?

04 January 2011 Any company documents can be viewed. Go to access public documents - view public documents.

You have to pay Rs. 50/- per company.

04 January 2011 form 23ACA i.e., profit and loss account of a private limited company can not be viewed or inspected not being a public document. although in case of limited company this can also be viewed

05 January 2011 Follow the steps given by Aditya. However you can view and download documents only for limited hours (3 hours) from the time of deposit of Rs.50/-.

All documents can be viewed in case of a public company. In case of a private company all except P & L.

Some of the old documents may not be available online. In that case you can visit ROC with the payment challan and inspect the company file physically.
