Amendment/cancellation in dvat registration

If Mr.A is a proprietor registered in DVAT & CST Act and after his death, we want his son to become the proprietor, what will be the procedure in DVAT & CST to do so. Mr.A had not made any will & had 2 sons & 1 daughter. Please advice what to do? whether to amend the registration or cancel & make a new one.

The successor should inform the same to the department along with an application for amendment in the registration certificate and death certificate.
