14 October 2013 A private limited company has 3 directors, two directors are permanently staying abroad.
My query is should I appoint an alternate director for both the foreign directors.
As per the act the alternate director will retire when the absentee director comes back, but these foreign directors do not visit India very often.

Should I appoint new directors , who are place in India, or is it ok to have alternate directors for a long time.

2)Can we obtain DIN of a person now and show his appointment date before obtaining din no.

First of all you should check what your article says on it, if you have two foreign directors.

You can not take the option of alternate director unless such director is regularly attend the meeting and there after he is out of India for some period.
