Hi...
Yes an Alternate Director can be appointed as Managing Director. As and when the Original Director returns to the state where the Board Meetings are usually held.... the person appointed as Alternate Director to him shall cease tohold office as Director of the Company and since he ceases to be a Director of the Company he will automaically cease to be a Managing Director of the Company as well......
