Alteration in invoice is valid

23 January 2015 Dear Sir/Mam
As per service tax act, we can take cenvat till next 6 Month after the invoice creating.
Now my question is that,if alter the invoice date with stamp then it will valid for cenvat.

23 January 2015 This is illegal you cant just change the date of invoice for your convenient, as per Service Tax provisions if there is any changes in invoices issued for service provided a supplementary invoice can be issued.
