Allotment of shares other than consideration

We are going to use our parent company land for our manufacturing activity on 30 year lease basis for which we are going to issue shares to our parent company for the lease value.
Now my question is when the allotment will take place.
Can we give shares for the lease rent payable

The abovementioned situation would amount to allotment of shares other than cash.
