Is there is any time limit within which a company can allot shares on conversion of warrants into equity shares.

Presuming that u r talking about a listed company. As per ICDR regulation it is mandatory for a listed company to convert the warrants into equity shares with 18 months of allotment of original security (warrant).

Agree with Ankur. In addition, once the conversion takes place, the allotment is deemed.
