Hello All
My client has having the taxable income is 55L during the year. He is a salaried person and does maintain books. Now how he can calculate the cost of assets he is having to report under AL schedule for the asstt. yr 2016-17.
Pl guide and tell the procedure he will follow.

salary person don't required to main books of accounts he have form 16 then he can file return on this basis. you have to fill detail of assets as buy rate not on the market rate and all other property with assessee, will disclosed. but apparel an furniture not required to disclose, and loan for buying this also disclose.
