i want to purchase agriculture land..
what is procedure for the same
should i get farmer certificate from govt.. if yes than what is the procedure

Normally any Indian resident can purchase agricultural land. Farmer certificate is not necessary. There are restrictions on non-residents to purchase agricultural land. Also, Non-ST cannot purchase, land in the scheduled areas.
Better to check with Revenue Authorities to know the restrictions if any, before acquiring the same.
