25 November 2012 Is it compulsory to show in yearly return to prove that this income is not earned through any unfair means?
what are requirements to show agriculture
income in yearly return filed ?

26 November 2012 A separate column/block/cell is put in the income tax return to show the agricultural income.

27 November 2012 For Safe side i suggest that agricultural income shall be shown...However there is different slab rates for it..

29 November 2012 "agricultural income tax" is a State owned area. With the record of State, one can easily prove the income to be agricultural. In addition to that Income Tax return MAY prove to be a good source to prove the same.
