25 February 2010 we are Agri Equipment manufacture in Sangali,Maharastra.India.

My Firm Name is Shree Swami Samarth Industries.
MIDC Islampur,Dist- Sangli.

Dear Sir,

Please Guide in Case of Excise.

My Firm is not Registered with Central Excise because my product is use only for Agriculture purpose.

But for production process i have to use Excisable material.

Can i avail cenvat againest my Exciseable material .or There are any provisions in Central Excise for Agriculture Equipments

25 February 2010 If you are not registered with the excise department. u cannot avail the benefit of cenvat credit.
