Agency

This query is : Resolved

09 January 2016 In an agency, there was a contract between Mr.A(principal) and M(minor) to sell a watch for a minimum price of Rs.700. However, M sold it to D for Rs.300. Now is Mr.A liable in this particular contract? Should M repay the excess loss Mr.A has incurred?

26 January 2016 Contract with a minor is void.

24 May 2016 Contract with a minor is void ab initio. Hence, M is neither liable to his principal (A) nor to the purchaser.

18 June 2016 Thank you so much sir..
